Today, I embarked on a forest bathing journey with my fur baby, Baylee, and my adventurous Aunt to Humpback Reservoir in Langford, BC. While we had initially planned to visit the suspense bridge, the scorching heat redirected our plans.
We did our best to navigate the long up-and-down trail. Mostly up. Why does every walk or hike have to be uphill? It was refreshing. I have done so many of these walks over the past few months that I crave them now. How odd, right?
I find nature to be my solace these days. It has a strange way of calming my mind and soul.

When I take my nature walks, I look at everything differently now. I study it and marvel at its beauty.

Nature is just incredible. The more I walk, the more I want to see. The more I appreciate. Nature heals my soul. And it needs a lot of healing.
